Stars are a comfortingly familiar symbol of the festive season, joyful for the holidays and helping us look up and hopefully towards an easier and more positive year to come.

These star embroidery patterns are quick and easy makes as we head towards Christmas, for decorating or something creative to do over the holidays. Felt Stars is a simple pattern for tree decorations. It offers two designs, and you can use Super Stars to create a whole lot more. The moon and stars mini hoop is one of six little desert-inspired designs that make up Desert Dreams, the other is one of five mini hoop ornaments that accompany Festive Tree. They’re all available as instant download, PDF patterns from my Etsy shop.

Snowflakes are just as symbolic of the festive season and this embroidery pattern has a large number of them, for you to stitch en masse or individually. They fit into four-inch embroidery hoops as well as mini hoops for tree decorations and gifts.
